Claraspital — CHF 140 Million Renovation
Our Challenge
The Claraspital building in Basel will be replaced by a new four-story structure. For the executive project, neither architectural documentation, engineering records, existing installations, nor material quantities for recycling were available.
Solution Implemented
Together with our sister company BIM Facility AG, we conducted a strategic analysis to define the technical scope of the new DIGITAL TWIN proposed as the solution.
More than 2,500 laser scans were executed into a point cloud, and a BIM model was subsequently created.
In addition to the architectural model, the complete building technology was also modeled, including many special systems such as gas installations, pneumatic tubes, liquids, etc.
